My Rescue Dog Chief
And you...
Some of you have been with me long enough to remember
Buddy the Internet Dog from the early days.
Shepard/Lab Mix. He had his own blog hahaha.
Made it to 17. Buddy passed in April ‘22. Right before I
went on my summer in the mountains.
I was accompanied by my son’s dog Duke, who became
mine full time when Caleb began living on campus.
Unfortunately Duke passed from cancer on the afternoon
of August 10th last year.
Remember that date, August 10th.
How my rescue dog Chief showed up
My intention was to wait a few months to a year before
getting another dog.
Then one day in October I found myself looking at dogs
on the local Humane Society shelter.
I told myself I was just seeing what was out there for
later. Even believed myself.
I was looking for a smaller, younger dog. But this face
kept pulling me in:
His online description said he was a 12 year old Husky
mix. Found running the streets with the brother he’d grown
up with. Turns out their owner had died and the 2 of them had
been running the streets together. Chief’s brother had
died in the shelter...
Then I told myself I would go out there just to see
what kind of dogs they had. I believed this too...
Remember that date 8/10/25 when Duke passed
at home in the afternoon?
The shelter knew nothing of this.
While I was playing Chief they told me he was
brought in the afternoon of Sunday 8/10/25,
the same afternoon Duke passed.
And it was all over...
Welcome to the Pack
Chief now runs with Mollie, my girlfriend’s dog, a
5 year old Golden Doodle.
They have bonded so strongly, running in the house,
yard, and walks together. Waiting for each other at
the door, etc...
They’ve become a pack
And watching them has reminded me of something I’ve
seen over and over again with creators.
We go further faster in groups.
Most creators try to do everything alone.
They create alone.
They struggle alone.
They wonder if they’re the only one dealing with
inconsistent income, lack of motivation, too many
ideas, not enough sales, and all the stories that
show up when you’re trying to build something.
They’re not.
The creators who grow the fastest usually aren’t the
ones with the most talent.
They’re the ones who have a pack.
People who encourage them.
People who challenge them.
People who share ideas.
People who help them see opportunities they can’t
see on their own.
That’s exactly why I created The Paid Creator Club.
It’s not just another membership.
It’s a pack of creators building profitable businesses
together.
A place where Content Creators become Content Profit
Makers.
Inside the Club you’ll discover how to:
✓ Turn one idea into content, lead magnets, offers,
memberships, coaching programs, and recurring revenue
✓ Build your business without living on the content
hamster wheel
✓ Create multiple streams of income from what you’ve
already created
✓ Get clarity on what to create next and confidence
that you’re moving in the right direction
✓ Learn directly from my weekly Story & Strategy LIVE
sessions where we uncover the hidden story and create
the strategy that moves people forward
✓ Access workshops, trainings, coaching, templates,
frameworks, and implementation support
✓ Connect with other creators who are building real
businesses instead of trying to figure it all out alone
And here’s my favorite part...
=> After every Story & Strategy LIVE, I create a custom
Instant Creator.
These are specialized AI tools built from the exact
frameworks, strategies, breakthroughs, prompts, and
lessons from that week’s show.
The ONLY place to get these Instant Creators is inside
The Paid Creator Club.
So every week you don’t just learn the lesson.
You get a tool that helps you apply the lesson.
One Story & Strategy.
One Instant Creator.
One more asset added to your business.
Week after week after week.
Because the goal isn’t more information.
The goal is more implementation.
More progress.
More profit.
More momentum.
And it’s a whole lot easier when you’re running with
a pack.
Chief figured that out.
Maybe it’s your turn.

I am glad Chief found his "right" home in retirement. Such coincidences are meant to be.
